A Broadway legend is coming to Baltimore Center Stage. We’re thrilled to announce that four-time Tony Award nominee Raúl Esparza will perform live at Don’t Call it a Comeback: A Homecoming Gala!

One of Broadway’s most celebrated leading men, Raúl has starred in acclaimed productions including Company, tick tick...BOOM!, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Taboo, Speed-the-Plow, and Leap of Faith. This November, he returns to Broadway in the highly anticipated new musical Galileo, from which he will be performing excerpts at our Gala!

Beyond the stage, audiences know him from his iconic roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Pushing Daisies.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: CJay Phillip

After 16 years away from auditioning, CJay Phillip is stepping into the world of (pray) as Sister Anna Bertha — bringing her passion for movement, music, faith and community to the stage at Baltimore Center Stage.

A choreographer, performer and founder of Dance & Bmore, CJay connects deeply to the show’s fusion of dance, spoken word, music and worship. She describes (pray) as a space where “anyone could come into the room and understand a sense of longing and belonging, regardless of your faith origins.”

And for Baltimore audiences? She says the city itself is reflected in this production:

“My sisters, my aunties, my little sisters were all in the room.”
