Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower The Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower The historic Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower is a beloved icon on the Baltimore skyline.

Built in 1911 by the Emerson Drug Company, the Tower was originally capped with a fifty-one foot rotating model of the signature blue glass bottles of Bromo Seltzer (this was removed in '36 for structural concerns). In 1969, the building was donated to the City of Baltimore, and was used to house various City offices until 2006, when the Tower was purchased by Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower LLC, a cooperative between philanthropists Eddie & Sylvia Brown and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts, and extensively renovated to create thirty distinctive working studio spaces for artists.

After a week off, we are back on your regular public Saturday operating schedule. If you want to see the world’s largest four dial gravity weight driven clock, explore Bromo Seltzer history or immerse in the phenomenal art talent within the building, you’re in luck. Please come see us.

We are open today and every Saturday from 11 am-4 pm. Last admission is at 3:30 pm. We hope to see you soon.

While the clock room and history tours are a popular Saturday attraction for us at Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower, we will not be able to operate this Saturday at Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower because our staff and our artists are operating and facilitating Artscape 2026.

We will look forward to seeing you next Saturday 5/30/2026 during our regular 11 AM- 4 PM operating hours. Thank you for your understanding and have a great weekend.
