Bicycle Ride Across Georgia Epic adventures on two wheels across the state of Georgia. It has covered thousands of miles and touched hundreds of towns through the years.

The Bicycle Ride Across Georgia (BRAG) is a not-for-profit dedicated to providing affordable, quality bicycle tours in and across the state of Georgia. Established in 1980, BRAG is the second oldest across-state bicycle tour in the world and attracts riders from across the United States. Along the routes, Georgia residents open up their towns and communities to participants, making for a truly memorable experience. The fellowship and spirit that comes along with all of BRAG's rides keeps many riders coming back year after year.

If you ever find yourself in the Alentejo, put Fitapreta Winery at the top of your list. 🍷

We stopped here for lunch and a w**e tour today, and it was a highlight of the trip already. The grounds are gorgeous, and the team has done an incredible job restoring the historic building. You can feel the care that went into every detail.

The w**es? Excellent. Every pour was a reason to linger a little longer.

And lunch was a true feast of Alentejo flavors: pork, cod, empanadas, hummus, a beautiful beet hummus, and a few more dishes I enjoyed thoroughly but won’t attempt to pronounce. 😄 Course after course of local food, shared around the table after a morning on the bikes. It doesn’t get much better.

Day one of the Franklin’s Explorers Club ride in Portugal is in the books, and wow. 🇵🇹🚲

We spent today rolling through Portugal’s Alentejo region, and it’s every bit as beautiful as we hoped. Cork oak groves, olive trees as far as you can see, whitewashed villages, and those big golden landscapes that make you want to stop every mile for a photo (and we did).

The scenery and trails out here are simply stunning. This is the kind of riding that reminds you why you travel by bike in the first place: you don’t just see a place, you feel it.
