Little Black Village is a community that actively supports our black youth in living up to each of their potential by encouraging them to stay in school and seeking experiences aboard. Little Black Village is a dedicated to discussing and exploring ways of keeping our black youth from dropping out of high school and encouraging them in seeking higher education. It is also a venue to encourage and

support our black youth in exploring and venturing outside of the United States though programs such as study aboard or organization such as the Peace Corps as means to learning other cultures and thereby hopefully appreciating and taking advantage of the many opportunities that are here in the US that can lead to productive and successful careers and/or lives.

I am surprised that I have not received many signatures as of today. This petition may say Gwinnett County but it really covers a lot more because we may begin at Gwinnett but can be duplicated and submitted for each county and state in the US. We just have to start somewhere. So I am looking for everyone support so we can really show those who we have elected and will elect one of the changes we would like to see that will help us now and in the future. So again, please be sure to sign this petition and share it with a family and friend. This in only the first part because it will not be that simply to have the request of the petition come into fruition however by standing together and sharing our combined voice it will help in making sure that those elected hears us.
