💛 Recently, our Pre-K students had an unforgettable experience visiting the Georgia State Capitol during a very special year for the Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter — our 40th anniversary! 💛

Our little learners had the opportunity to meet Governor Brian Kemp, explore the Capitol, and be part of a meaningful celebration recognizing 40 years of impact for children and families across Atlanta. ✨

We were incredibly honored to be recognized on both the House and Senate floors through:
⭐ HR 1537, led by Representative Kim Schofield alongside Representatives Evans and Berry
⭐ SR 898, led by Senator Nan Orrock alongside Senators Kemp, Harrell, James, and Rhett

Moments like these remind us of the power of community, opportunity, and helping children see all the possibilities ahead of them.
