What does it look like when a community moves from simply being present to actually holding power?

We’ve officially kicked off the countdown to the AIM Policy & Advocacy Conference 2026. After the impact of last year’s gathering, we are building something even stronger, more intentional, and more focused on real community voice and influence.

This year, we will be having conversations around policy, representation, civic engagement, and economic opportunity — bringing together community members, leaders, and stakeholders to explore how we move from awareness into action and from participation into influence.

Registration is now open. We invite you to be part of this movement.

📅 Date: June 27, 2026
📍 Location: Gwinnett Chamber Foundation
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM

Understanding your rights and being prepared can make a significant difference when navigating emotionally charged or uncertain immigration-related situations.

Many people go through systems without fully knowing what protections and options are available to them. Awareness changes that.

This clip is from our series Thriving Beyond Borders with Nnamdi, where we have real, practical conversations around immigration, identity, and navigating life across borders.

The full conversation goes deeper into immigration realities, practical guidance, and the importance of staying informed while building your life in a new environment.

Nobody talks enough about how lonely moving abroad can feel.

You leave your people, your environment, your comfort zone and suddenly, you’re trying to figure everything out on your own. For many immigrants, that feeling is very real.

Tokunbo’s story is not just his story, it’s the reality of so many immigrants trying to adjust, survive, and find community again.

AIM is trying to create a space where African immigrants can find support, build real connections, meet people with similar experiences, and access opportunities that make the journey easier. No one should have to start over alone.

As we celebrate another AIM anniversary, we are raising $5,000 before May 31st to keep building programs, events, and spaces that truly impact lives in our community. Every donation helps us reach more people who need support, connection, and community. 💛

But the good news? You still have time to join us. 👀

There are still 3 more weeks to go, and this is your final opportunity to be part of a cohort focused on helping entrepreneurs build with more clarity, strategy, and direction.

If you’ve been waiting, overthinking, or telling yourself “maybe later” then this is your sign.

Some business owners are not lazy.
They’re just overwhelmed.

Imagine trying to run your business while also figuring out content, pricing, customer service, finances, structure, and growth… all at the same time.

At some point, “working hard” is no longer enough. You need direction. You need systems. You need guidance.

That’s one of the reasons the AIM Business Ignitor Program exists, to help entrepreneurs move from survival mode to building with intention and clarity.

And in just 2 days, the cohort officially begins. 👀

Sometimes mental health challenges show up as exhaustion, emotional overwhelm, constant stress, withdrawal, lack of motivation, irritability, or simply not feeling like yourself anymore.

In this masterclass, we’ll focus on building awareness, understanding what these signs can look like in everyday life, and learning how to respond before things become too heavy to manage alone.

This is not just a conversation about mental health but it’s a conversation about wellbeing, self-awareness, emotional balance, and creating healthier ways to navigate life and work.

✨ Understand common warning signs
✨ Build awareness of your mental wellbeing
✨ Learn how stress and burnout can show up
✨ Gain practical insight on responding early
