🪣800 DISASTER-RELIEF BUCKETS. ONE COMMUNITY. A POWERFUL PARTNERSHIP.🌀💙

Milton, FL, is facing extensive cleanup following Hurricane Isaias, with downed trees and debris impacting the community. Today, ToolBank Disaster Services is teaming up with Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida to help residents take the next step toward recovery.

ToolBank Disaster Services Director Bill Hess joined Matthew Knee, President & CEO of Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida, to highlight today's distribution of 800 Grainger disaster-relief buckets at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Milton.🛠️🪣

Packed with essential cleanup supplies and tools, these buckets will help residents tackle debris and begin putting their communities back together.

As Catholic Charities approaches its 100th anniversary, Matthew shared an important reminder: approximately 90% of the people they serve are non-Catholic. Their services are for everyone, and all are welcome!🙏❤️

This is what disaster recovery looks like: organizations coming together, sharing resources, and meeting communities where they are. No single organization can do it alone, but through strong partnerships, we can get critical supplies into the hands of people who need them most.

Check out these Grainger disaster-relief bucket distributions happening tomorrow in Milton and Fort Walton Beach, FL. 🪣 These buckets are filled with supplies that will help residents clean up after Hurricane Isaias.

Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida would like to thank Grainger and ToolBank USA for donating Emergency Clean-Up Buckets for Hurricane Isaias victims. Catholic Charities will be distributing Free Emergency Clean-Up Buckets, while supplies last, on Tuesday, October 13, at two different locations: St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 6451 Park Avenue, Milton, FL - 10 am; and Catholic Charities-Fort Walton Beach Office, 11 First Street SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL - 9 am.

🛠️Out West, our tools are helping communities prepare for a safer future!🌿

Since September, our West Coast Territory Manager, Art Garciacano, has been supporting a series of community cleanup events in Altadena, CA, where volunteers are rolling up their sleeves to clear brush and overgrown vegetation that can increase wildfire risk.🔥🧑‍🚒

As this need grew, ToolBank Disaster Services established a satellite location in Altadena to get essential tools and equipment into the hands of the people doing this important work. With resources closer to the community, we can better support ongoing cleanup efforts and help neighbors take action to build a safer, more resilient Altadena.🏘️🤝

We’re grateful to Art and all the community partners working together to support recovery and wildfire preparedness. When communities have the tools they need, incredible things happen!🧰🛠️

🌀THE STORM HAS PASSED, AND THE WORK OF RECOVERY BEGINS!🛠️

Good news from Panama City...ToolBank Disaster Services Director Bill Hess is back at our warehouse following Hurricane Isaias, and we're thankful to report no damage to our facility!🙌

Now, Bill is connecting with our disaster relief partners to coordinate cleanup efforts and help impacted communities get back on their feet.🤝

🪣NEED CLEANUP SUPPLIES? WE'RE READY TO HELP!

We will have Grainger disaster-relief buckets stocked with trash bags available to help community members tackle debris cleanup. We're working today to get essential supplies where they're needed most.

🌀HURRICANE ISAIAS IS MOVING IN, AND TOOLBANK IS KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON CONDITIONS.🌧️

ToolBank Disaster Services Director Bill Hess has been out and about in Panama City, checking conditions as Hurricane Isaias approaches. From the warehouse to the roads to the beach, the rain is falling, the winds are picking up, and the storm is making its presence known.🌊💨

Thankfully, Bill is outfitted in his Carhartt gear to help keep him warm and dry while monitoring conditions in the field!🦺🥾

Our team is preparing to support impacted communities as soon as it’s safe to begin recovery efforts.
