INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY STATEMENT 2026
At Global Harmony Health Zambia, we're honored to join the global community in celebrating International Women's Day 2026, under the powerful theme "Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls". This theme resonates deeply with our mission to promote health, well-being, and harmony in our communities.
As an organization dedicated to mental health awareness, capacity building, and early intervention strategies, we recognize the pivotal role women play in shaping the health landscape of Zambia. Women often bear the brunt of caregiving responsibilities, while facing unique mental health challenges like gender-based violence, unequal access to resources, and societal pressures.
Our vision of a healthier, more harmonious Zambia is inextricably linked to gender equality. We believe that empowering women means empowering communities. That's why we're committed to:
- PROMOTING GENDER EQUALITY: Ensuring equal access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunities for women and girls.
- EMPOWERING WOMEN: Supporting women's leadership in health, community development, and decision-making roles.
