Arvada Elks Lodge #2278 Arvada Elks Lodge #2278, located in Arvada, Colorado was chartered on March 31, 1963. We are a private club and require membership for most events.

Congratulations to Barry Thomas, our May Elk of the Month!

Barry is one of those members who is always willing to step up, lend a hand, and do the work that keeps our Lodge moving forward. He cooks Bingo dinners on Wednesday nights, washes dishes for Auxiliary breakfasts, and works with Bonnie on food orders and inventory control.

Barry also started and continues to administer the “Purple Pigs,” helping support an important Elks program. Around the Lodge, his hard work can be seen in many places. He installed two bike racks out front, ground down the stubs from the old signs in the south parking lot, and power washed the wall in preparation for the new mural. He also serves on both the mural committee and the golf tournament committee.

On top of all of this, Barry has earned the distinction of proposing the most new members two years in a row.

Barry’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to the Lodge do not go unnoticed. Thank you, Barry, for everything you do for the Arvada Elks!
