In honor of World Mental Health Day and this year’s theme, “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change,” Camp Fire’s VP of Child Safety & Well-Being, Nikki Roe-Cropp, shares what she took away from our new report, Supporting Mental Health and Well-Being at Camp.

We asked camp staff and campers, the people with lived experience, what has worked, what hasn’t, and what they need more of. Their answers are already shaping change, from new pre-camp family resources to how our camps learn from each other.
