Happy Thanksgiving!

We are so thankful for the place that we call home, our local community, and the incredibly diverse nature that surrounds us!

This is Arroyo Grande native, Jackson Ralph, bagging his first wild turkey in 2020. Even during the trying times we have all faced recently, there is much joy to be had participating in nature and harvesting clean food for our tables. There are also many lessons to be learned about the role we play in conservation and the balance of our ecosystem.

AGSC directly supports LOCAL scholarships, youth public school conservation education programs, free Kids Adventure Days, and more.

The easiest (and most fun) way to support these efforts is by attending our banquets! All you have to do is show up, eat BBQ, and win some really great prizes! Click the event link for information, reach out to us if you want to help, and please spread the word!

Due to the current unprecedented times with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and uncertainty of when we can return to activities without the required “social distancing,” and to help reduce concerns about being protected, we are postponing our Kids Adventure Day which was scheduled for Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17th.

We will be rescheduling with Fort Hope and will keep you informed once we have a new date for the event.

Please stay safe and continue to support the request of “sheltering at home,” and “social distancing” as it is the only way each of us can protect ourselves and others in the community from this virus.
