💜🦇 A little Rotary business, wonderful company, and some very special guests!

Our satellite members gathered Thursday night at The Hub at Central Coast Brewing in SLO for our quarterly business meeting, fellowship, and a memorable program with Deb Sherry from Pacific Wildlife! 🌿

Deb introduced us to Radar, a sweet 11-year-old bat who was so well behaved as she made her way around the room. She certainly captured our hearts! 🦇💕 We also enjoyed welcoming our guests—including an adorable pup named Frida! 🐾

Our Rotarians wore purple to help raise awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month and show support for survivors. 💜

Thank you, Deb, for sharing your knowledge and introducing us to Radar, and thank you to everyone who joined us. We love bringing people together to learn, connect, and serve! ⚙️💛

🍝💙 Rotary fellowship served with a delicious dinner!

Our Pismo Beach–Five Cities Rotary presidential nomination committee gathered at Rosa’s Italian Restaurant this evening for a meeting filled with great conversation, laughter, and wonderful food. 🤝✨

Chef Doug stopped by at the beginning of the evening to say hello and chat—a lovely way to kick off our gathering! 👨‍🍳😊

We’re grateful for time together as we look ahead to our club’s future and continue our commitment to Service Above Self. ⚙️💛

🌊 Small acts of service add up! On September 19, our Rotary Club of Pismo Beach 5 Cities President, Anya Stanley, joined two new friends for ECOSLO’s 21st Annual SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup.

Their team focused on the Pismo Beach Pier, collecting other litter along with nearly 200 cigarette butts. 🚬🗑️ Thank you, Anya and friends, for helping care for our beautiful coastline! 💙

🐾 Introducing a fun new feature: The Pets of Rotary! 🐾

Tonight, we had the pleasure of spending time with Seth and Leila Daniel’s sweet pup, Foscoe, during our Rotary Satellite Meeting at their home. Foscoe was the perfect host, warmly welcoming our Rotary family and making sure everyone felt right at home! 💙🐶

We can’t wait to introduce you to more of the beloved pets who bring so much joy to our Rotarians’ lives!

What a wonderful evening with our Rotary family! We gathered on the beautiful back patio of Leila and Seth Daniel’s home in San Luis Obispo for our Rotary Satellite meeting, enjoying fellowship, meaningful conversations, and excitement for what lies ahead.

We were delighted to welcome and induct our newest Satellite member, Andrew Meade, with one of our beloved charter members, Harlan Silva, leading the induction. It was wonderful hearing more about Andrew’s life, the work he does, and the experiences he brings to Rotary as he officially became part of our Rotary family!

We also enjoyed two wonderful member spotlights featuring Mickey Malotte and Kieran Ferrini. It is always a pleasure to learn more about our fellow Rotarians, their passions, and the experiences that have shaped them.

Seth and Leila welcomed their guest, Ellen Rinell, and Shannon Bowdey’s guest for the evening was Marissa Ritter, who submitted her application to join the Satellite Club this week!

A heartfelt thank-you to Seth and Leila for graciously opening their home and hosting such a lovely gathering. We enjoyed discussing possible upcoming events, sharing ideas, and looking forward to everything our Satellite Club has in store.

There is truly nothing better than fellowship with our Rotary family! 💙💛

🌿 We’ll be working together to beautify the central garden and surrounding olive grove.

A big thank you to Leila Daniel for organizing this wonderful opportunity for our Rotary family to serve our community! ❤️

🚗💨 What’s happening on our roads around SLO County? We got the scoop on Tuesday! 🛣️🚧

A BIG thank you to Annie Bowsky from SLOCOG for joining us at Ventana Grill and giving our Pismo Beach Five Cities Rotary Club an inside look at what’s happening with transportation throughout our community. 💙💛

We loved hearing about projects that have recently been completed, what’s coming down the road next, and learning a little more about all the work SLOCOG does to help keep our communities connected and moving! 🚦👏

Thanks, Annie, for spending your Tuesday with us and keeping us in the know. We promise to appreciate those road improvements a little more now! 😉🚙
