As we start our morning reflecting on the amazing weekend we had at our 3rd Annual Portuguese Heritage Days we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of support. Your attendance has continued to help this event grow year after year.
We could not do this event without the tremendous support of our sponsors Mypfsa Modesto, Luso-American Financial and slodevie.
The partnership with St. Anthony Celebration of Pismo Beach, Inc. and support from their board has given us an amazing location to bring our vision to life.
To the individuals who volunteer to help pull this together we cannot express how truly thankful we are for you. We would specially like to thank Gorete Cunha for joining us as part of the planning committee. Her expertise and help was greatly appreciated.
Now we start to plan for 2026 and look forward to seeing you all again.

Join our friends from the St. Anthony Celebration of Pismo Beach, Inc. for their festa on August 15th - 18th.

Friday, August 15th: 7pm - 11pm Evening of Dancing with Chico Avila. Food and drinks will be on sale

Saturday, August 16th: 12pm Donor's Luncheon - you must have a ribbon to be admitted to lunch. Limited lunches will be available for a minimum cash donation of $30 per person at the door. Drinks and filhoes will be available for purchase.

7pm - 11pm: Presentation of the committee, queens and Grand March, followed by dancing with Chico Avila. Drinks and food will be available for purchase.

Sunday, August 17th - Parade and sopas
9:00 am parade formation in the pier parking lot
9:30 am parade steps off in route to St Paul's Church
10:30 am mass at St Paul's Church
12:00 pm first serving of sopas at the St Anthony Festa Grounds
Auction will take place immediately after the meal

Monday, August 18th - 12:00 pm Lunch of beef stew and beans for all. Auction immediately following the meal.

While in Pismo for the Portuguese Heritage Day stop by Grover Station Grill and all the wonderful businesses on the west end of Grand Ave. You’ll also find Grover Station Grill at our event serving up their twist on bifanas and linguica sandwiches. They were a huge hit last year.
