Gold Star Families Remembrance Week⭐️
During Gold Star Families Remembrance Week, we honor the courage and memory of our service members who made the ultimate sacrifice, and stand with the families they left behind.
If you are a Gold Star Family member and have not yet received your official Gold Star Lapel Button, please follow these steps to submit your request.
1. Secure your DD Form 1300. Your fallen hero's Report of Casualty is the primary verification document that establishes your Gold Star family eligibility.
2. Complete DD Form 3: Download the official Application for Gold Star Lapel Button.
3. Submit to Your Service Branch: Mail your completed DD Form 3 and a copy of your fallen hero's DD-1300 directly to your respective service branch's casualty office for formal processing.
