In less than two weeks, the national security operations research and analytics community will gather at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs for the 94th MORS Symposium, taking place 8–11 June 2026.
This year’s Symposium introduces exciting new interactive experiences designed to challenge perspectives, encourage collaboration, and sharpen analytical thinking.
NEW THIS YEAR — Systems Thinking Sessions
The new Systems Thinking Sessions will push participants beyond narrow problem statements to examine the interconnected systems driving outcomes across a variety of sectors. Through collaborative exercises and facilitated discussion, attendees will explore how cascading effects and second- and third-order consequences shape complex operational environments.
NEW THIS YEAR — The BIG Debate
One of the most engaging additions to the Symposium, The BIG Debate brings together experts with competing viewpoints to debate the role of AI in operations research, analytics, and national security. Expect lively discussion, audience participation, and thoughtful challenges to conventional thinking in a session designed to spark meaningful conversation across the community.
In addition to these new sessions, attendees can participate in a CEU course, tutorials, Working Groups, the Wargaming Expo, networking events, and the Recognition Dinner throughout the week.
We look forward to welcoming the MORS community to Colorado Springs for a week dedicated to advancing decision-ready analysis in support of the warfighter.
