On December 7th, Credential Engine will be (virtually) celebrating its fifth anniversary and acknowledging all that has been achieved with its many partners. The organization has been working to bring full transparency to the vast and chaotic education and occupational credentials marketplace. It is working with over half the states, federal agencies and Congress, systems and providers to ensure that students, workers, employers, educators and policymakers have access to linked, open, interoperable data to be able to make more informed decisions. The 5th Anniversary will include the release of the latest "Counting Credentials” reports for the country, presentations from state partners, an announcement of an upcoming state policy academy, remarks from a bi-partisan panel of U.S. Senators, and insights from various funders of this work. The free event will be held virtually from 1:00-4:00 pm ET on December 7th. In the meantime, register today to save the date and secure that time on your calendar!
