I didn’t start out knowing residential property management would be my long term path, but once I stepped into the industry, it clicked immediately. The fast pace, the people, and the constant variety pulled me in right away. No two days are ever the same, and that’s what keeps it exciting.​

What I love most is the impact. We’re not just leasing apartments, we’re creating experiences, building communities, and helping people find a place they call home. That responsibility means something.​

This career has also given me the opportunity to grow beyond onsite operations into training and developing teams across multiple communities. Being able to coach others, drive performance, and see teams succeed is what makes it truly rewarding.​

RPM challenges you, pushes you to grow, and gives you the chance to make a real difference every single day. That’s why I love it.

Cindy Kemp started as a Property Manager with a big vision and an even bigger heart. Today, she's Vice President of Operations for all of Texas, and every step of that journey was earned.​

Cindy doesn't just build teams. She builds people. She's cultivated a culture where collaboration is the standard, goals are shared, and no win goes uncelebrated. If you've ever landed on her legendary "Good News Gravy Train" email chain, you know exactly what I mean. ​

She has never stopped growing or giving back, staying active in her local association and recently graduating from the Leadership Lyceum. Cindy nurtures talent by believing in people before they believe in themselves. She leads by example every single day. That's not just leadership, that's legacy. I'm so proud to nominate Cindy Kemp. During RPM Week, we are proud to recognize Nick with New River for his outstanding partnership and unwavering support of our community. Nick plays an essential role in the success of our onsite operations, consistently delivering reliable and high-quality landscaping services that keep our property looking its best.​

A recent example of his commitment was following a patio fire incident. Nick immediately took action, coordinating repairs and personally ensuring the work was completed. Despite the timing on Good Friday, he stayed late into the evening to rebuild the affected area so residents would not be left with a safety hazard. His responsiveness and willingness to go above and beyond ensured both the safety and peace of mind of our residents.​

Nick’s work ethic, reliability, and genuine care make a lasting impact on our community. We are grateful for his continued partnership and proud to recognize him for Supplier Appreciation.

I’ve been fortunate to grow alongside individuals, both residents and team members, who have shaped my perspective and strengthened my leadership. Every day I approach this work with a deep sense of responsibility and pride.​
