At the park!
If your pumpkins a' rotten, come a knockin'! We accept pumpkins in our compost! Please remove any non-organic items, such as candles.
Thanks to Lower Merion Parks and Rec for removal of the elm that got compromised in the summer storms. They removed a potential hazard and opened up the space. Let's see how the redbud next to it grows with the increased room to grow!

The asters and goldenrod are looking great at the park and throughout the neighborhood (have you walked through the meadow at Haverford College lately?). Robin Wall Kimmerer explained in "Braiding Sweetgrass" that the two colors of purple asters and yellow goldenrod, having reciprocal colors in human and bee eyes and growing together, attract a greater number of pollinators than either would growing alone, therefore leading to better plant success.

Nature is amazing and knows what's best for itself!
