🧽 Help Us Fill Our Pantry for June! 🧽

This month, we're collecting cleaning supplies to help stock our pantry for the young adults we serve as they transition into independent living.

We're currently in need of:
✨ All-purpose cleaner
✨ Cleaning wipes
✨ Dish soap
✨ Laundry detergent
✨ Paper towels
✨ Toilet bowl cleaner
✨ Sponges & scrub brushes
✨ Trash bags

These everyday essentials can make a big difference for a young adult setting up and maintaining their home.

Donations can be dropped off at our office:
821 Aubrey Ave, 2nd Floor, Ardmore, PA.

We are incredibly honored to share that Well Rooted was recently selected as the recipient of Project W's Small Nonprofit Award, receiving a $9,000 grant!

Project W is a women’s giving circle in Delaware County that brings together local women to pool their resources and invest in organizations that strengthen and support women and families in our community. Through the power of collective giving, Project W has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to local nonprofits making a meaningful impact.

To be recognized by this amazing group of women is truly an honor. This grant will help us continue supporting women aging out of foster care through mentorship, essential needs assistance, and community-building opportunities.

Thank you to Project W and its members for believing in our mission and investing in the future of the young adults we serve.

Our pantry was nearly emptied after our last Young Adults Dinner, and we're so grateful that so many young adults were able to take home the food and essentials they needed.

Now it's time to restock for next month's gathering! We're collecting pantry staples, hygiene items and cleaning supplies to help ensure our young adults have access to the support they need.

Although greatly appreciated, we are fully stocked for pasta and beans.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

Looking for a meaningful summer activity? Whether you're a young child, involved in Scouts, or need service hours for school, our Junior Ambassadors can use their unique talents and interests to make a difference.

☀️ Summer projects could include hosting a lemonade stand, organizing a bake sale, planning a neighborhood fundraiser, or creating a fundraiser of your own to help grow Well Rooted and support the families and young adults we serve.

Junior Ambassadors commit to at least one fundraising effort each year, learning firsthand how even small acts of generosity can create a lasting impact.

Thank you to for sponsoring our May Dinner as our Nourishment & Community Sponsor! 💚

Not only did they provide dinner (from !) for our young adults, but they also covered transportation to and from the event and helped stock our pantry.

Because of their generosity, we were able to provide fresh items like eggs, cheese, strawberries, butter, and ground beef, while also replenishing essentials such as dish soap, deodorant and olive oil.

We even added a few new photos to our wall and got in a " Boyz II Men " pic.
