Angela’s husband Carlos was released from detention this week after 258 days of separation. In a press conference yesterday, she said, “We love this country. That’s why we fought so hard.”

Angela shared a message for all Americans, but especially young people in her community: “We need to get involved. We are not victims, we are active participants. But we have to do the work.”
