🚨 URGENT: SYDNEY NEEDS OUR HELP 🚨
Please share!
Meet Sydney, a tiny 2-year-old girl weighing only 8.5 pounds. She’s on the Euthanasia list for this weekend! 💔
Sydney was found as a stray in Dallas, scared, alone, and suffering from a severe leg injury. When shelter staff examined her, they discovered a homemade splint made from popsicle sticks on her right front leg—a heartbreaking sign that she had been living with this injury for some time.
On May 27, Sydney received her DA2PP vaccine and pain medication to help keep her comfortable.
On May 28, she was sedated so radiographs (X-rays) could be taken. The results revealed a fractured distal radius and ulna in her right front leg. The injury is severe enough that Sydney will require either orthopedic surgery to repair the leg or amputation.
Right now, this little girl sits in her kennel trembling with fear. She is overwhelmed, hurting, and uncertain of what comes next. Despite everything she has endured, she deserves a chance at a life free from pain.
Burnside Paws Animal Rescue would like to step forward for Sydney and get her to a surgical hospital where she can receive the specialized care she desperately needs.
💜 At this time, we are asking for PLEDGES ONLY. 💜
⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT SEND DONATIONS YET. ⚠️
Before any funds are collected, we must first ensure that we are able to tag Sydney and successfully pull her from the shelter. Once she is safely in our care, we will provide updates and instructions regarding pledged donations.
Please consider making a pledge in the comments and sharing Sydney’s story. Every pledge helps demonstrate that there is support behind giving this precious little girl a second chance.
Together, we can show Sydney that her story doesn’t end in a shelter kennel—it begins with hope.
