Letting the Spirit Move:
Insight and Inspiration in Times of Change
Friday, March 17 at 5:30 p.m. to Saturday, March 18 at 5:00 p.m.
First Congregational Church | Appleton, Wisconsin
724 East South River St., Appleton, WI 54915
Are you facing major life changes? In our Spring Circle of Trust retreat, we‘ll explore how we can use our inner wisdom during stressful times of transition and transformation. We’ll use the images and processes of the changing seasons as well as stories, poems, art and other creative work to help us reflect on the transitions and changes we make in life and learn how we can stay connected with what matters most to us.
We will explore how we can use the gifts of change to bring our wholehearted, authentic selves into our work, relationships and family.
The retreat will be led by Albert Bellg, a retreat facilitator with the Center for Courage & Renewal. Circle of Trust retreats follow retreat guidelines developed by Parker J. Palmer (author of A Hidden Wholeness and other books) and the Center for Courage & Renewal.
This is a non-residential retreat (you'll spend Friday evening in your own bed!), and dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday is included. Suggested donation: $65 (no one will be turned away for financial reasons - please ask for a reduction in the fee, if you need it).
To register, you can contact First Congregational Church in Appleton at 920-733-7393 or sign up in the narthex. You can also register online by clicking on the button to the right. We ask that you bring a check or cash to pay for the retreat when you arrive on Friday evening, March 17.
