Sunday, October 18, 2026

Calling all bakers, dessert lovers, and cookie connoisseurs!

The CVC Fuel Youth Group is firing up the ovens (well, YOU are!) for a sweet-tooth-satisfying bake sale this Sunday, October 18, in the café!

Here's how you can join in:
Bake it: Drop off your homemade goodies early Sunday morning.
Buy it: Stop by the café, fill your bag with treats, and take home something delicious.

Every dollar raised goes toward the rising costs of our annual Winter Retreat ❄️🔥, so every brownie, cupcake, and cookie makes a real difference in the lives of our students.

Come hungry. Leave happy. Help send our youth on an unforgettable retreat!

Judging and discerning are two different things. Jesus still calls us to tell truth from error, and he warns us about a fault-finding spirit that grows out of self-love. When we face our own sin honestly with the gospel in view, we find that God has poured out mercy upon mercy.

Matthew 7:1-6

God sees every failure, every bitter word, and every shameful act no one else knows about. In Christ, he forgives us, accepts us, and adopts us into his family. Pastor James reminds us of the mercy we have received in this clip from "Judge Not," Matthew 7:1-6.

A look back at Sunday's message, "Do Not Be Anxious About Your Life." Jesus shows us a Heavenly Father who feeds the birds and cares even more for His children. Pastor James encouraged us to keep seeking first God's kingdom and His righteousness, and to trust Him with what today requires.
