This March, SBC Antioch turned 2!

2 fantastic years of good books, meet-ups, fantastic drinks, all the vibes, creating community, making new friends, and more. I truly love seeing so many people come together to do what they love, no matter the age, gender, or book. I mean, just check out pic 3: these two friends met up to read together to get ready for Battle of the Books! And the Polaroids in pic 4 are truly ones for the photo albums (Props to for capturing some beautiful moments 📸 ❤️)

Thank you to all of you who come out to Silent Book Club. This chapter wouldn’t be what it is without you. I can’t wait to celebrate with our 2 year party this week on Thursday!

❗️NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE❗️ (even tho we are a bunch of silly geese 🪿)

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years with Silent Book Club Antioch! We had our first meet-up in March of 2023, and I couldn’t imagine how this club would grow and blossom into the beautiful group it is today.

In honor of our 2 year anniversary, come out for our April meet-up on Thursday, April 16th to celebrate with us! We’ll have a bunch of cool giveaways (think ✨ sprayed edges ✨), snacks and SBC signature drinks from our amazing hosts at , and a dessert potluck!! Participation in the potluck not required, but feel free to bring something to share if you’d like to (maybe a Midwestern Salad? If you’re in the LB discord, IKYK).

We can’t wait to see you all and celebrate with you!

Feeling lucky? Come hang out with Silent Book Club Antioch for our March Meet-Up, Thursday March 19th from 6pm-8pm!

By this meet-up, we’ll have officially celebrated 2 years of Silent Book Club Antioch at ! I can’t believe it’s been that long, but I’m truly so thankful for all of you! We’ve learned that the treasure at the end of the rainbow isn’t always gold. Sometimes it’s good books, supportive friends, a wonderful community, and delicious coffee.

We kicked off our first meet-up of 2026 this January with the one of the largest (if not THE largest) meet-ups we’ve ever had at SBC Antioch! (Book stack in pic 1 doesn’t include all the electronic devices in pic 2!)

We loved seeing all the new people come out and discover how much fun reading together can be ❤️ And you can see just by looking at all the different books in the pics that we all read a lot of different things, which is fantastic! You don’t have to read the same book to come together, appreciate literature, and find a great community 🥰

Also special shout out to the birthday girl, Kylie!! Kylie came out ON HER ACTUAL BIRTHDAY to make us all coffee, read with us, and share some of her birthday treats! Thank you, Kylie, we love you!!

Can’t wait to see you all in February!
