Remember the starved abused dog named Georgie? I’ll post his first pic in the comments since fb doesn’t allow a video with a pic.
Well here he is today and I think this video says it all. What a happy ending for a dog that was so weak and starved that he couldn’t even stand up when he was found.

Sasha is an 8–9 year-old, 90lb sweetheart who has survived more than any dog ever should.

Sasha spent most of her life chained outside a trailer in SE Missouri until one day, the trailer caught fire. Thankfully, Julie happened to be driving by and rescued Sasha, taking her straight to the vet because she was in terrible condition. For the past two years, she has been living on Julie’s property, surrounded by a large pack of dogs.

Sasha is a low-energy girl who absolutely adores people, including children, and gets along well with other dogs. She is a sweet, gentle soul who simply wants to be loved.

Last month Sasha had three mammary tumors removed, including one that was extremely large. Because the tumors were located in several different areas, she needed multiple surgical sites, along with extensive sutures, staples, and drains. They were very worried that the tumors were cancerous, but thankfully, they were benign!

Sasha is now recovering, and once she is fully healed, she will be ready to make the trip up here to a foster or forever home.

After spending most of her life on a chain and then living in an outdoor run, this sweet senior deserves so much more. She deserves a soft bed, a loving family, a warm home, and a peaceful place to spend her golden years.

Could you be the person who finally gives Sasha the home she has been waiting for?

She has waited long enough to know what it feels like to finally be home. 🐾❤️ Please fill out an application on our website if you can help. PLEASE SHARE
