Bella is still missing... We’ll have a search party for Bella starting TOMORROW morning, Saturday, June 20th. We’ll be out between 7-8 am but anytime is helpful!

Please pass this message along to your neighbors who may not see this post, especially those next and across from you.

At anytime tomorrow morning, please spend 20 minutes scouring your yards, window wells, under porches, inside garages, sheds, in bushes, shorelines, etc. If your neighbor can’t search, ask if you can search their property for them.

Searching the streets is helpful for any amount of time. If you can comment which street you’ve searched, we can check it off the list.

Keep groups small (2-4 people) when walking. Large, loud crowds can scare her.

If you see her and she starts to run off, sit down quietly immediately, don’t call out don’t do anything except call me with the immediate location.
Do not chase her.

Text or call 847-736-1769 with any sightings and exact location.

🎉 So many beautification efforts all going on at once....

Oakwood Knolls we really did it!!! Cross Lake has been treated to the MAX, and it's because of ALL of us coming together, and making it happen!💪 Thank you Gregory Goldbogen & Jacquie Mathis for your early efforts going door-to-door and sharing the idea. Thank you Linda Hennum, Andrew Reese, Robin Perry, & Pamela Goldbogen for helping to bring everyone together. And thank you neighbors for spreading the word and trusting each other.

Thank you friends of the neighborhood for cutting back unwanted trees and brush on our community properties. It truly is appreciated by all. Director Claudia Umlauf and son Quinn as well as Director Melissa Csapo Moore and brother.

They'll be giving their time and efforts again today at the Pier area, if anyone else wishes to join in the community efforts. Getting ready for this weekends 2026 OKPOA Youth Fishing Derby 🎣 right here, in Oakwood Knolls!!

Not pictured, but a few weeks ago, former Director Mike Hain & long time resident Ron Schlung repaired the park shed walls and doorway. The structure was falling apart from the bottom, and these men saved it and improved it for future use!! Thank you gentlemen!! 👏

Recent Storm Clean Up –
High winds brought by recent storms to the Village caused tree damage and left storm debris throughout our community. After assessing the extent of the damage, the Village of Antioch's Public Works Department will conduct a village-wide chipping program for storm-related tree debris. If you would like to participate in this free service, please have branches to be chipped out by Monday, June 22, 2026.

Residents who wish to participate should place storm debris at the curb in an orderly manner, with cut ends facing the street if possible. Please do not place debris in the roadway, block sidewalks, or mix other materials such as logs, root balls, leaves, or construction debris with the branches to be chipped.

Cason Land & Water Management team is now on Cross Lake, treating the Eurasian Watermilfoil on the Illinois side, plus Lily Pad treatment on the South Shoreline.

If you weren't able to contribute to the W**d Control Efforts, and still wish to contribute to the community... our next project will be dredging the channel & lagoon. 😉 Keep you posted.

👏 CONGRATULATIONS Oakwood Knolls!!

8 months of collecting, weighing, recording and delivering your plastic recyclables, we earned a bench!! 👏 Now let's pick a COLOR!

Thank you to the community, we couldn't have done this without your help and continued support. We want to give a special Thank You to Girl Scout Troop 30102 members, and their behind the scenes work, as well as the OKPOA Board members who led the efforts.

The Girl Scouts know which color they'd choose for the community, but want to hear from you... which color would you like to see on our new bench at the pier area? 🤔
