Our club is made up of women with different talents, ideas, backgrounds, and passions who come together to serve our community. Every scholarship awarded, fundraiser hosted, service project completed, and life touched is the result of many members working together toward a common goal.

Some members volunteer behind the scenes. Some lead committees. Some organize events. Some lend a helping hand when needed. Each role is important, and every member contributes to our success.

The strength of the AJWC comes from the collective efforts of our members. Without each woman sharing her time, talents, and heart, we would not be the organization we are today.

Thank you to every member—past, present, and future—who helps make a difference in our community. Together, we are stronger. Together, we accomplish more. Together, we are the Antioch Junior Woman's Club. 💛

The Antioch Junior Woman’s Club extends heartfelt congratulations to all this year’s graduates! Our club has proudly awarded four scholarships to female students from Lakes and Antioch.

Graduating is a powerful milestone—one that reflects not just your intelligence, but your resilience, determination, and growth.

As you step into this next chapter, remember that your voice matters, your ideas are valuable, and your potential is limitless. You don’t have to have everything figured out—what matters is that you keep showing up, stay curious, and trust yourself along the way.

There will be challenges, but you are more than capable of rising to meet them. Be bold in your dreams, confident in your choices, and proud of how far you’ve come.

The world needs strong, compassionate, and driven women like you. Go forward knowing you are ready.

This past weekend, one of our members proudly volunteered at Vet Fest in Lake Villa—a community celebration dedicated to honoring and supporting our nation’s veterans.

The event brought together families, friends, and neighbors from across Lake County, transforming the Lake Villa VFW into a warm and welcoming space. Veterans, their families, and supporters enjoyed food, music, games, and meaningful connections with local veteran nonprofit organizations.

A heartfelt thank you to all who have served and to everyone who helped make this event so special! 🇺🇸

This weekend, a few of our members had the opportunity to join fellow Women’s Clubs in Bloomington, IL to welcome the new GFWC-IL Board of Directors. Together, we collaborated with club members from across the state to share ideas and discover new ways to better serve our communities.

We also learned about valuable programs designed to support our members as they advocate for the causes they’re most passionate about—and took time to celebrate each other’s successes along the way.

One Vision. One Voice. One Journey.
Come be a part of a sisterhood like no other! 💙

🌟 Celebrating Women’s History Month 🌟

During Women’s History Month, the Antioch Junior Woman’s Club proudly celebrates the incredible contributions women have made throughout history — and the impact women continue to make every day in our communities.

From leaders and innovators to volunteers and caregivers, women have always played a vital role in shaping stronger, more compassionate communities. At AJWC, we are honored to carry on that tradition through service, friendship, and philanthropy.

Our members come together to support local organizations, provide scholarships, volunteer our time, and create opportunities that help our community thrive. We are proud to stand alongside generations of women who believe in lifting others up and making a difference.

This month, we celebrate the past, empower the present, and inspire the future. 💜

💙 Did you know? The Antioch Junior Woman’s Club (AJWC) proudly reports all of our volunteer hours, fundraising efforts, and community service projects to the GFWC Illinois each year.

This means every event we host, every dollar we raise, and every hour we serve helps showcase the impact our club makes—not just locally, but across the state.

From scholarships and fundraising to service, education, and outreach, we are proud to represent Antioch and demonstrate the meaningful difference our members make in the community.

Thank you to our members, volunteers, and supporters for helping us continue this important work! 💛
