A HUGE thank you to North Anderson Baptist Church. Several of their members joined the ladies of the Anderson County Woman’s Club in a massive clean up of the grounds at the Marshall Orr House on Market St in Anderson. They came equipped with tools, trucks and hearts of service.

The multi family indoor yard sale is this Saturday, August 1st from 8 am - 3 pm. Lots of amazing deals and one of a kind items. Proceeds benefit the restoration project to protect and restore the historic Marshall Orr house. Plenty of off the street parking.

The last luncheon of the summer was held this week. What a wonderful event. We had several guests which quickly became potential new members. Our hostesses: Sylvia McLeod, Nancy Hanley, Linda Storey, Mary Jane Hawkins, Judy Geer and Ann Whitaker served a delicious lunch and dessert all provided by our member/caterer Sherry Hart. The tables were adorned with doll head vases filled with pink and blue hydrangeas. Our next club event will be the September coffee scheduled for Monday September 14th. Don’t forget, our Dillards sponsored fashion show is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23rd. Tickets will be available on or after August 7th. Remember, these tickets sell out fast, contact any Board Member to purchase. If you wish to reserve a table, please contact Karen Roberts.
