Last week we had a great turn out for our Landlord Resource Fair! The event featured vendors and partners representing different areas of expertise including: financial planning, pest and animal control, legal services, eviction diversion programs, translation services, moving services, cleaners, snowplow vendors, and more!

REGISTER NOW FOR SUMMIT ON AGING| Please join us at the 2026 Alaska Statewide Summit on Aging, a hybrid event being held October 15-17 at Anchorage’s Turnagain Social Club . Continuing education credits available.

Limited free General Admission is available for Seniors 65+ and Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Because this is being provided on a space-available basis, please sign up early and follow instructions on the registration page to show that you qualify.

This year’s theme is Systems Transformation for a Stronger Future in Aging.

As temperatures drop in Anchorage, help our neighbors stay warm and prepared for winter.

Catholic Social Services is collecting new or gently used winter gear for both children and adults, and all sizes are welcome. We are especially in need of good-quality winter boots in all sizes.

Most-needed items include winter coats and jackets, snow pants, warm layers, gloves and mittens, winter boots, hats, scarves, and warm socks.

Please drop off donations by October 14 at:

4600 DeBarr Road
Monday-Friday, 9 PM-5 PM
