Nacho Average Night! ASC’s Cinco de Mayo Awards Extravaganza 🌮✨
ASC turned up the heat for our Cinco de Mayo Awards & Recognition Banquet, and it was nothing short of spectacular! A massive standing ovation goes to the incredible team of organizers, presenters, and behind-the-scenes heroes who brought this fiesta to life. Here are the highlights from a night to remember:
A Pitch-Perfect Start: The Bonfire quartet set the stage on fire with their breathtaking, soul-stirring harmonies.
The Dream Teams: We rang our bells as our dedicated Management and Music Teams were officially presented.
The Heart of the Chorus: A huge cheer to Susan Nevada, chosen as our Sweet Adeline of the Year! 🌟 Her dedication keeps us all in tune.
The Legends Among Us: We recognized our Longevity Award winners—thank you for your years of loyalty and song.
Section Superstars: Every section had its moment in the sun, including Peg’s "unforgettable" Baritone presentation. We were treated to a rigorous, event-by-event breakdown of baritone participation stats—so detailed that the audience took the cue to check their watches, roll their eyes, and make strategic escapes to the ladies' room!
Blooms & Gratitude: Surrounded by hand-crafted paper flowers, we showered our wonderful Interim Director (aaand Novice Director Award Winner!), Melodee Risi, with the love and appreciation she deserves.
The Baton Passes: We extended a warm welcome to our incoming Director, Phil Cheasebro (he even received his official ASC Name Tag!). We are thrilled to have his leadership on the risers—and we're equally excited that he can finally reach all those items off the high shelves for us!
The Grand Finale: And true to form... we sang our hearts out! 🎶
