Anchorage Mayor's Prayer Breakfast An annual time to gather in prayer for our leaders as instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-3. This is good, and pleases God our Savior" I Tim 2:1-3.

This event is held in biblical instruction to pray for our leaders, no matter what political views they may have. "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone--for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. The breakfast is sponsored by businesses, men and women from our commu

nity. None of this is put together at government expense. Every mayor has always been the guest of honor and not the event sponsor or promoter. The breakfast is organized by a volunteer committee comprised of people from several churches in the city of Anchorage.

To all of our friends and supporters, The Anchorage Mayor's Prayer Breakfast for 2020 has been cancelled because of the Covid-19 virus. We are now working on scheduling a breakfast for the fall of 2021.
