Northern Lights Alaska Chapter of the APA

Northern Lights Alaska Chapter of the APA Professional Payroll Organization The Northern Lights Alaska Chapter of Payroll Org (NLAC) was started in 1999. We have past award winners of the National APA.

Over the past 13 years, the NLAC has offered classes for students to become FPC/CPP certified (Spring and Fall classes are offered), monthly member meetings which members receive RCH credits, networking, and an annual statewide payroll conference. Members enable our chapter to grow and provide additional opportunities to our colleagues and the community. The Northern Lights Alaska Chapter is an or

ganization made up of Payroll Professionals throughout the City of Anchorage and surrounding areas as well as muliple remote locations throughout Alaska. Our group demographics range from the new to payroll individual to the veterans of our profession. Our group is dynamic and energetic and all have driving personalities that make our organization special and recognized locally, statewide and nationally, year after year. Our founding members saw the need to bring Payroll Professionals together and educate them in the payroll profession so that they would be the top of our profession and maintain the laws that the various government agencies make into law each and every day. While members come and go, the Northern Lights Alaska Chapter has a strong foundation of people, quest for continuing knowledge and recognition that goes beyond the bounds of just another professional organization. Our community service opportunities puts our members in touch with real issues and other non profit organizations that are doing their part to make Houston a better place to live. We offer many opportunities for payroll professionals to grow, share their knowledge and network with their fellow payroll professionals day after day. Many of our members have been or are active not only in our local chapter but on the state level as well as the National American Payroll Association. The Northern Lights Alaska Chapter of Payroll Org invites you to attend one of our meetings, get to know our members through networking at those monthly meetings and seminars and expand your minds through the wealth of knowledge our members bring to our profession each and every day. You never know who you may meet, what future opportunities it may unveil and how it will enhance your worth as an individual in your community and most importantly, with your employer. After all, the Northern Lights Alaska Chapter is WHERE OUR MEMBERS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! The Northern Lights Alaska Chapter is affiliated with Payroll Org, (d.b.a. PAYO) but is an autonomous and independent organization. Payroll Org, Inc. is not responsible for the liabilities, statements or activities of any of its affiliated chapters.
