DOWNTOWN IS LIGHTING UP! ✨

Our crew from Crater Lake Building Company has been hard at work high above Commercial Avenue, installing thousands of feet of warm white lights along Downtown Anacortes' rooflines!

With just one week of installation left, we're getting close to the finish line on Light Up Downtown!

💡 A few fun facts:
- More than 3,500 feet of lights are being installed!
- Our amazing volunteers have been busy applying dielectric grease to the sockets and screwing in more than 3,500 individual bulbs, one by one, to help keep Downtown shining for years to come.

A huge thank-you to our volunteers and the hardworking Crater Lake crew for bringing this project to life!

We're almost there, Downtown! ✨

A LITTLE MORE GREEN ON OUR WATERFRONT!

Another lovely improvement is underway downtown! The City of Anacortes Parks Department is creating a grassy picnic area next to Maritime Plaza, making one of our favorite waterfront spots an even nicer place to relax, enjoy lunch, and take in the view.

We love seeing these little investments that make downtown more welcoming for everyone. A big thank you to our Parks Department for making a great place even better!

Next time you’re downtown, take a stroll along the waterfront and check out the progress!
