The Anacortes Sister Cities Association extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and community of Comarnic as we mourn the passing of a remarkable educator and leader. As a retired teacher, school principal, and beloved figure in Comarnic, Mr. Nastase touched countless lives and helped shape generations of students with wisdom, compassion, and dedication.

Our sister‑city bond is built on friendship, understanding, and shared values. Today, we stand with Comarnic in honoring a person who embodied those values so beautifully. May his legacy continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

With heartfelt sympathy,
Anacortes Sister Cities Association
