COMING UP ON SATURDAY! Join our volunteer repair team at the Burlington Public Library WA for our last Fix-It Day event of the year on International Repair Day!

Before you replace it, see if you can repair it.

Whether it’s a favorite sweater or a household item, repairing and mending can help keep useful items in use longer. The library has books to help you learn repair skills, plus a Library of Things collection where you can check out tools and equipment for your projects.

You can also bring your worn, broken, or well-loved items to Fix-It Day (hosted by Transition Fidalgo) on October 17 from 11 AM–3 PM. Help give your items a second life!

Bring your broken or worn-out item to Burlington Public Library on October 17 from 11 AM–3 PM, and our skilled volunteers will see if they can help repair or mend it.

Why replace when you can repair? 💚 Together, we can give items a new lease on life and divert repairable waste from the landfill.

Our FINAL Repair Cafe of the year is happening October 17, 11 AM–3 PM at Fix-It Days Repair Cafe @ Burlington Public Library.

Our FINAL Fix-It Days Repair Cafe of the year is coming up! Join us at the -It Days Repair Cafe @ Burlington Public Library on October 17 from 11 AM–3 PM and bring along something that needs a little TLC.

Our skilled volunteers will do their best to repair or mend your item and help keep repairable things out of the landfill. 🌎♻️

October 17th also happens to be International Repair Day, an annual celebration for everyone who makes repair happen in their communities around the world - and an even better reason to participate in our final repair event of 2026!

Bring your broken or torn items for our skilled repair team to fix or mend, and learn more about why repair and reuse is an essential step towards sustainability.

TOMORROW!! Join us for Fidalgo Bay Day 2026! This free, family-friendly community celebration is filled with hands-on opportunities to learn about the beauty, history, wildlife, and ecology of Fidalgo Bay and the greater Salish Sea.

The event will feature educational displays from marine science and conservation organizations throughout the region, along with activities such as beach seining, a forage fish egg survey, portable touch tanks from Shannon Point Marine Center, and free samples of local seafood.
