AEHS Foundation

AEHS Foundation A member supported, non-profit providing high quality training and education to environmental professionals.

The Association for Environmental Health and Sciences Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, member-supported, women run, professional organization. Our purpose is to facilitate communication and foster cooperation among professionals concerned with the challenge of soil, sediment, and water assessment, cleanup, and protection. With over three decades of relationship building and service, we know that

resolutions for environmental contamination can be found only through the integration of scientific and technological discovery, social and political judgment, and hands-on practice. AEHS Foundation facilitates conferences, seminars, publications, collaborative partnerships, and our members-only online community. Founded in 1990 as the Association for Environmental Health of Soils, AEHS has provided an international forum for over 600 members, industry experts, researchers, and governmental organizations to exchange information and advance awareness of environmental issues. The AEHS network spans professional disciplines from across the U.S. and abroad including biology, chemistry, geology, engineering, and regulatory science. In 2009, AEHS officially launched the AEHS Foundation in order to better define and showcase the organization’s scope and breadth of engagement. Recognizing that the core values of AEHS are fundamentally for the public good and that results rely heavily upon the efforts and energy of our members, it was a natural transition to create a non-profit entity. Moving forward, the AEHS Foundation will continue to build upon its global network and offer members education, training, and scientific experiences.

In light of the recent wildfires impacting California and our West Coast friends, AEHS Foundation would like to express our support for all those impacted. We recognize the resilience and strength of communities affected, and as a small way to support the ongoing relief efforts, we have made a donation to World Central Kitchen to help provide meals to those who have been displaced.
Our thoughts are with everyone facing these challenging times, and we stand with you as you rebuild and recover. 💙🌿
