One Week Away! Join Us for the Amherst Woman's Club Jazz Social!

Looking for a relaxing afternoon with great music, a glass of wine, and good company? Join us next Saturday for our Jazz Social featuring The Jazz Mesmerizers!

Peter Sikowitz (guitar) and Markleford Friedman (keyboards) will perform timeless jazz favorites from the Great American Songbook, contemporary songs in the jazz-standard style, and a few musical surprises along the way.

This event also supports an important mission. At our recent Annual Meeting, members approved a new leadership structure, with Karen Blum serving as Vice President of the Amherst Woman's Club Programs & Membership Branch and Susan Fendrock serving as Vice President of the Hills Memorial Clubhouse Branch.

As Susan leads efforts to preserve and maintain our beautiful historic clubhouse, proceeds from this fundraiser will help support the ongoing restoration and care of the Hills Memorial Clubhouse so it can continue serving our community for generations to come.

Jazz, Wine & a Great Cause!

Join us on Saturday, June 6, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. for an afternoon of live jazz, a glass of wine, and good company at the Amherst Woman's Club.

Enjoy music by The Jazz Mesmerizers, featuring Peter Sikowitz (guitar) and Markleford Friedman (keyboards), performing jazz favorites from the Great American Songbook along with contemporary classics and a few surprises.

This event comes at an exciting time for the Amherst Woman's Club. At our recent Annual Meeting, members approved a new leadership structure designed to strengthen both our programs and our stewardship of the Club's historic home. Karen Blum was elected Vice President of the Amherst Woman's Club Programs & Membership Branch, while Susan Fendrock was elected Vice President of the Hills Memorial Clubhouse Branch.

As Susan begins her new role overseeing the preservation and maintenance of our beloved clubhouse, proceeds from the Jazz Social will help support ongoing building maintenance and restoration projects, ensuring that Hills Memorial Clubhouse continues to serve our community for years to come.

What a beautiful evening at the Amherst Woman’s Club Annual Spring Dinner!

Members and guests gathered for a wonderful night filled with appetizers, dinner, wine, light jazz, and great company. The clubhouse was filled with laughter, conversation, and so many delicious dishes contributed by our talented members.

From savory appetizers and main dishes to incredible homemade desserts, the evening truly showcased the warmth, generosity, and community spirit of the AWC.

Thank you to everyone who attended, brought food, helped organize the event, and made the evening such a success. It was a lovely celebration of friendship and community, and we are already looking forward to next year!

Members and guests are invited to join us for a wonderful evening of appetizers, dinner, wine, and light jazz at the Amherst Woman’s Club!

6:00 PM – Appetizers & Wine
7:00 PM – Dinner

Enjoy our member potluck and a lovely night out together. Guests may contribute a salad, main dish, or dessert.

Cost: $35 per person

The cost helps cover insurance, alcohol license requirements, bar attendants required by the town, and our musicians for the evening.
