Your question matters.
And someone out there is holding the same one.

This Sexual Healing Month, we’re creating space for real questions and real healing.

When you give, you help make that space possible.

We are thrilled to be presenting at Collective Power 2026 — an activist conference
— April 11-12 in Amherst, MA.

We will be joining over 650+ movement builders, educators, activists, artists, and
students.

Over more than four decades, the Collective Power conference has gathered 13,000+ people working across the social justice movement space to build skills, expand networks, and strengthen our respective movements through a reproductive justice lens.

Collective Power 2026 is organizing at the crossroads, bringing together practitioners and people with lived experience who are uplifting libratory frameworks rooted in disability justice, healing justice, LGBTQIA+ justice, immigrant justice, prison abolition, and more.

April is Sexual Healing Month at Heal Sweet Home.

While many name this month for awareness of assault, we choose to name it for healing.

We make this shift intentionally.

Awareness matters, but awareness alone can leave us circling harm.

Sexual healing invites us to move beyond naming violence toward restoring connection, pleasure, agency, and belonging.

When we center healing:

• Survivors are more than what happened to them
• Communities build skills for repair and care
• Conversations expand beyond fear into possibility
• Prevention grows from connection, not control

Sexual healing reminds us:

we are not only working to end harm —
we are working to reclaim sexuality as a source of joy, curiosity, and liberation.

Many are asking what’s in the files.

We’re asking something different:
What are we expecting those files to give us?

Clarity? Justice? Closure?

Or relief from something that still hasn’t been addressed?

This piece explores why exposure alone doesn’t lead to healing—and what it might actually take to create change.

Today, on Trans Day of Remembrance, we hold space for the lives stolen by anti-trans violence. We grieve, we honor, and we refuse to forget.

Trans Day of Visibility reminds us that trans joy, care, and brilliance are not negotiable—they are necessary.

At Heal Sweet Home, we recognize the significance of both of these days:

The personal grief, triumphs, and stories of our trans siblings, and the work of healing and support within our communities.

The structural inequities, systemic violence, and political erasure that shape trans experiences, demanding our collective action and accountability.

Let us commit to seeing, protecting, and honoring trans lives everyday, not only today.
