Founded at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1942, the Delta Nu chapter is one of 138 collegiate chapters of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Our chapter is one of the strongest on campus, as we are the largest women's fraternity in the UMass Greek system as well as one of the largest nationally. Our women are dedicated to the Kappa legacy and place value on leadership, friendship, and scholarship. UMa
ss Amherst has a large community, and our chapter acts as a support system within that community. We are very active members of the community, as we host several educational sessions and philanthropy events throughout the year. Komen for the Cure as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters. We host events throughout the year to raise money for these causes, and each sister is encouraged to contribute to their own personal philanthropy. We also encourage every sister to strive for the highest level of achievement and recognize those who excel academically through our annual Scholarship Banquet. The sisters of Delta Nu have a relationship that cannot be described in words. While our involvement in the community is undeniable, our most important role is in each other's lives as friends. These women are some of the best people I know and I am lucky to be able to call them my sisters. Joining Kappa Kappa Gamma was truly the best decision I ever made, and I cannot imagine my college experience without them. We would not be the women we are today if not for this sorority. I have Kappa Kappa Gamma to thank for the friends that I made and the memories that I have, which are sure to last a lifetime. I invite you to further explore our website to learn more about the chapter and what Kappa Kappa Gamma has to offer.
