Are you a Five Colleges student interested in organizing for reproductive justice on campus? Join Collective Power as a Student Group Coordinator!

Working in collaboration with one other Student Group Coordinator, you will play an integral role in organizing events that engage the Five College community in the reproductive justice movement.

The deadline to apply is September 7.

The time commitment for this role ranges from 8-15 hours per week over the course of the 2026-27 school year.

The hourly wage for this role is $15.

Collective Power is heading to the birth place of reproductive justice to attend SisterSong's Let’s Talk About S*x conference this weekend!

Collective Power’s Anne Hendrixson, along with collaborators, will present their panel: How to fight pronatal population control in the U.S.

They’ll discuss how U.S. pronatalism gives way to anti-natal population control policies and reproductive oppression along white supremacist lines. Panelists will present strategies rooted in intersectional feminist resistance.

New resource alert! Ahead of World Population Day on July 11, we’re launching Pop Panic: a free Substack produced in collaboration with experts representing a range of perspectives on population control, feminism, and human rights.

Since the United Nations Development Program established World Population Day in 1989, the day has represented panic around population growth and decline simultaneously. Pop Panic confronts contradictions in today’s population control discourse and interrogates the eugenic vision of whose babies — and lives— have value.

Roots of Reproductive Justice: 500 Years of Movement Stories is an interactive toolkit that captures the legacy of reproductive justice from the perspectives of BIPOC, low income, and q***r communities. The toolkit will serve as a foundational resource to bridge academia and activism and advance strategy development and movement building.

In April, Collective Power joined BREHA Collective and other reproductive justice leaders to discuss reproductive access. Conversations like these are especially critical in the context of an evolving legal landscape. Take, for example, the recent court rulings on mail-order mifepristone (which is still available by mail in all 50 states).

Emerging Leaders Network applications are open for the 2026-27 program year! Apply by June 1.

In this year-long fellowship, reproductive justice leaders will expand their political knowledge, build their networks, and sharpen their organizing skills. Fellows will participate in monthly cohort calls, attend two all-expenses-paid in-person convenings, and co-create an anthology with their peers from across the country.

This program supports early- to mid-career reproductive justice movement leaders from across the country, with a focus this year on rural, small-town, and place-based organizers.

Collective Power 2026 will feature a special art performance taking place Saturday and Sunday. Artist Clare Tof Miryam will produce a textile art piece titled “Mishen-Mashan.” Over at the Instagram dedicated to the project, .mashen on Instagram, Clare writes; “The title honors my grandma, a Jewish cultural archivist and reproductive justice activist. Mishen-Mashen is a yiddishism for patchwork or quilting!”

This collaborative art piece sits at the intersection of fiber arts, storytelling, and knowledge production. Clare will take your words and wisdom and weave them into a finished object. Be sure to visit Clare during the conference and follow .mashen for more on the art piece.
