Amherst Community Church ACC is affiliated with the United Church of Christ. We are an open and affirming congregation. Our building is fully accessible to disabled people.

Amherst Community Church is affiliated with the United Church of Christ. We are an open and affirming church: We welcome gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people as fellow children of God. There is an elevator near the main entrance off the parking lot. We strive to make our Christian faith relevant in our daily lives. We participate in several special offerings through the United Church of C

hrist. These include the Neighbors in Need fund, the Christmas Fund and One Great Hour of Sharing. Through the blue offering envelopes, we contribute to the Pastor's Discretionary Fund; this is spent, with the knowledge of only the Council president and the pastor, to help church members in time of need. A set of bylaws outlines what constitutes membership, the function of the Council, the officers of the church, the boards, the Ministerial Relations Committee, the Stewardship Committee and the trustees.

Another great Sunday this past weekend at ACC. John and Wendy sang two fantastic songs, one an original by John that was the perfect conclusion to our worship series, "For the Beauty of the Earth." Join us THIS Sunday as we start a new series titled "Ask the Pastors" based on questions you submitted. This Sunday: "Why do people suffer?".
