We continue to see record numbers of clients at the Pantry and are always in need of donations. Can you add a few extra items to your shopping list this week and help us out?

Our most needed items are:
- Tomato products (paste, crusted, stewed)
- Juice
- Canned fruit (cocktail, pineapple, mandarin oranges)
- Canned peas, mixed vegetables, potatoes
- Canned chick peas/garbanzo beans and great northern beans
- Ketchup, mayo and syrup
- Crackers, graham crackers
- Paper towels
- Shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste
- Laundry and dish soap
- Sanitary pads

You can drop off your donation at the pantry anytime using our donation box, or stop by when we are open:

• Saturday, 5/9 from 9 AM until 12:30 PM
• Thursday, 5/14 from 3 PM until 6:30 PM
• Saturday, 5/23 from 9 AM until 12:30 PM
• Wednesday, 5/28 from 3 PM until 6 PM

The Tiger’s Den Food Pantry operates out of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 4007 Main Street (near Eggert Rd) and serves over 75 families in the 14226 area.

Do you need dinner tonight?

April (& May) showers bring May flowers! 💐 🌷
Unfortunately it will be raining again this week but fortunately for you we are serving up a delicious meal.
The menu for Monday (5/4) will be chicken and white bean enchiladas with yellow spanish rice. We hope you enjoy!!

Free clothing resources for Amherst Schools families!

Windy’s Clothing Closet
- Location: Trinity United Methodist Church, 711 Niagara Falls Blvd. Amherst, NY 14226
- Availability: Open the first and third Wednesday of every month from 3 - 6 p.m. (March 4, 18; April 1, 15; May 6, 20; June 3, 17)
Windy’s Closet offers a welcoming space where families can find clothing for Windermere & Smallwood elementary school students. The closet is stocked through generous community donations. They are always accepting new or gently used clothing. Accepted sizes include: 4t - youth large. If you are interested in donating, please email [email protected]. The church also offers a free community dinner the first and third Wednesday from 5-6 p.m.

Middle School Tiger Treasures
- Location: Inside the Middle School building
- Availability: Once per month
Middle School Tiger Treasures supports students with clothing needs throughout the school year and is conveniently located within the school building. They are always accepting new or gently used, age appropriate clothing and shoe donations. Accepted sizes include: 10/12 youth through adult sizes. To donate, contact Mrs. Primerano at (716) 362-7175.

High School Class Closet
- Location: Inside the High School building
- Availability: Once every other month

The High School Class Closet provides students with easy, discreet access to clothing right in their school building. They are always accepting new or gently used, age appropriate clothing and shoe donations. Accepted sizes include: All junior and adult sizes.

Important Reminders
- All students in the district are eligible to use their respective clothing closets
- All items are completely free
- Donations are always welcome to help keep these closets stocked for students in need.

The Pantry is getting low on paper bags! Do you have a pile sitting around that you could donate? Drop them off in our donation shed anytime or come by next time we are open!

Did you hear? There is a new clothing closet in the neighborhood! Windermere Elementary has set up Windy's Closet at Trinity United Methodist Church (711 Niagara Falls Blvd). Free kid clothes and free dinner available twice per month to those in need in 14226!
