Building up communities as we build homes and ride bikes with faith, hope, and love. Since our inaugural ride in 2008, the event has ridden through 48 U.S.

states, Washington, D.C. and one Canadian Province, helped physically renovate or repair 231 homes, and has raised over $3 million for families in need of housing all over the world. Combined 1,488 riders have ridden over 1,348,000 miles for the mission. We’re once again looking for cyclists from all corners of the country who are ready for a challenge and want to undertake a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. It's not a race, it's an invitation for every individual, church and school to get involved with loving and serving our neighbor, especially those whom Christ called "the least of these." Annual Ride: Take a trip down the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway to raise money for Fuller Center projects all over the world! We will average 65 miles per day on this week-long trek through National Park lands in Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi! Whether you are an advanced cyclist or a beginner -- YOU are welcome to join. Ride for the cause; ride for the camaraderie; ride to change lives and be changed!

For our 20th year of Bike Adventures, we're going back to the beginning: the Southern Tier cross-country ride, February 26 – April 25, 2027. Starting on the beaches of La Jolla, crossing the South, stopping in Americus to celebrate 20 years at Koinonia Farm, and finishing in Savannah — with 7 volunteer days along the way.

Ride the whole way or any of the 8 segments. It's not a race — it's a community on wheels, building homes and changing lives.

Our riders enjoyed a wonderful build day in Houston, Miss., on Tuesday — our final build day of the 2026 rides. Here's what veteran Adventurer Doug McCarty had to say about the experience:

"The work was such a joy for our team, and a welcome break between two 70-plus mile ride days with 2,000 feet of elevation at 90-plus degrees. The work was enJOYable for us as it bonded us together as a team for Christ. Many of you who follow FCBA have ridden with us previously, so you know first-hand the pure joy we share here. But for those who have not joined on a Fuller Center Build Day, please consider joining us. The needs in this and many other communities are great. Come serve with us, fill your cup being filled to overflowing, and experience Christ as He moves through your hands and your feet."

With our Natchez Trace ride concluding this coming Saturday capping off our 2026 season, it seems like a good time to take a look back at our two most recent completed rides, starting today with the Blue Ridge ride. It began with a full week of build days with the Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders, followed my riding through magnificent mountain scenery.

GOAL ACHIEVED!

Thank you to all our 2026 bike adventurers and supporters for helping us reach our $800,000 fundraising goal this year! Over 96% of those funds will be distributed to Fuller Center Covenant Partners to help build and repair homes around the world.

Today was certainly filled with ups and downs! We woke up to a cool morning filled with foggy mist. The weather cleared up a bit after the morning church service, just in time for the riders to face the 22 mile uphill climb out of Cumberland, MD. The sun peaked out just as they were nearing the crest and riding through the Big Savage Tunnel, which made for a wonderful last 10 miles of cruising downhill into Meyersdale, PA!

Here is the blog wrap-up of the day, written by Libby Birky:

Today was probably one of my favorite ride days with Fuller. I was apprehensive about the elevation gain last night. The visual map of the elevation was fairly intimidating. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be fantastic.

We rode along with the Western Maryland Scenic Train through three tunnels and hit the Eastern Continental Divide. It was all downhill from there. I loved riding sweep with Diane. We had great conversations all day and enjoyed each other’s company.

Saturday was our volunteer day on the Fuller Center CAP to GAP bike ride. We split our group of 22 riders and support staff between two work sites. One group worked on finishing a ramp up to a picnic pavilion in a Westernport, MD city park and the other group worked on cleaning out the basement of a couple in Lonaconing, MD that was flooded back in May of 2025.

The ramp to the picnic pavilion the first group worked on had been started by another group and presented some challenges. The handrails on the one side were installed by a previous group so they needed to try to make them look the same. In addition to the railing repair, some of the volunteers looked for other opportunities to be helpful. Several people helped two ladies across the street empty a wading pool that was too difficult for them to do themselves. One of the volunteers mowed the grass of an 80-year neighbor.

The basement the second group worked on had had about 5 feet of water in the basement from the 2025 flood. We removed a dumpster’s worth of ruined items from the bottom shelf of a workbench, scraped several inches of mud off the floor, scraped and painted two walls back in the corner of the work bench, and removed a ruined washer and dryer bought shortly before the flood occurred. Steve and Cathy were so excited and appreciative to finally get that corner of their basement cleaned. They were there working with us to direct us as to what to remove and what to keep.

It's always a blessing when we are able to take some time off the bikes to help make small improvements to the communities that host us along the way!

🚴‍♂️ HALF. WAY. THERE! Our amazing Cap2GAP cyclists have officially crushed the first leg of their adventure—220 miles down, 150 to go!

🎉 Last night, the team celebrated completing the historic Chesapeake & Ohio Canal (C&O) Towpath portion of the ride - including the iconic Paw Paw Tunnel!

We wrapped up the milestone with an incredible dinner at the Cumberland Community Cafe. We love their mission as a downtown non-profit restaurant working hard to serve great food to everyone who walks through their doors, regardless of their ability to pay. ❤️

⛰️ Tomorrow, the next chapter begins! The riders hit the Greater Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail from Cumberland to Pittsburgh.

🙏 Please keep our team in your prayers for safety, high spirits, and clear weather as they pedal to raise funds and awareness for The Fuller Center for Housing!
