Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure

Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure Building up communities as we build homes and ride bikes with faith, hope, and love. Since our inaugural ride in 2008, the event has ridden through 48 U.S.
(1)

states, Washington, D.C. and one Canadian Province, helped physically renovate or repair 231 homes, and has raised over $3 million for families in need of housing all over the world. Combined 1,488 riders have ridden over 1,348,000 miles for the mission. We’re once again looking for cyclists from all corners of the country who are ready for a challenge and want to undertake a once-in-a-lifetime ad

venture. It's not a race, it's an invitation for every individual, church and school to get involved with loving and serving our neighbor, especially those whom Christ called "the least of these." Annual Ride: Take a trip down the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway to raise money for Fuller Center projects all over the world! We will average 65 miles per day on this week-long trek through National Park lands in Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi! Whether you are an advanced cyclist or a beginner -- YOU are welcome to join. Ride for the cause; ride for the camaraderie; ride to change lives and be changed!

☀️ Looking to combine a tropical adventure with a cause far grander than just a cycling trip?

Our Tour de Florida 2027 may be just the ticket! 🚲✨

From January 28 to February 14, 2027, we’ll be trading snow and heavy jackets for coastal pathways, tree-lined roads, and the endless sun of southern Florida.

But this isn’t just a scenic ride. It’s a journey with a purpose. Along the way, we’ll be taking two volunteer days off our bikes to swap our handlebars for hammers, working directly with a local Fuller Center partner to build a new home alongside its future residents. 🔨🏠

📍 The Details:
• 12 days of riding (Avg. ~58 miles/day, mostly flat!).
• Customize your trip: Join for Segment 1 (Titusville to Labelle) or Segment 2 (Labelle to Key West)—or ride the whole thing!
• Finish with an incredible, iconic ride through the Florida Keys to Key West.
• Bonus: The Fuller Center provides a free shuttle for you and your bike back to the start!

Whether you’re a seasoned cycle tourist or looking for your next meaningful challenge, there's something for all on our Tour de Florida!

COAST TO COAST FOR OUR 20th YEAR! 🚲🌊

The first of our route announcements for 2027 just happens to be our BIGGEST yet. For the 20th year of the Bike Adventure, we are going back to where it all began and drawing inspiration from our very first inaugural ride.

The Route:
📍 Start: San Diego, CA (with our backs to the Pacific!)
🏁 Finish: Savannah, GA (front wheel dip in the Atlantic!)
🗓️ Duration: 8 weeks of incredible riding - our shortest crossing to date!

In between, we’ll experience the best of the Southern US. From the sun-soaked sands of the desert Southwest and the rolling Texas hill country, to the pine forests and historic cotton fields of the Southeast. This is the perfect cross-country route if you're looking to maximize the experience but minimize the miles and time away!

More Than Just a Ride:

🛠️ 7 Volunteer Days with local Fuller Center partners along the route (including a build in Millard Fuller's hometown!).

🎉 A 20th Anniversary Celebration at Koinonia Farm as we pass through our headquarters in Americus, GA!

Ready to make history with us?
Registration officially opens on July 10th—but you can reserve your spot on the ride today with no cost or obligation!

Huge thanks to everyone who rode, volunteered, hosted, supported and encouraged this adventure from start to finish.

We had a wonderful volunteer day in Jefferson City, Missouri, on Wednesday during our Rock the Katy Trail ride as we helped a local resident make repairs to a dangerous deck and did a little sprucing up around her yard so that she can better enjoy the great outdoors.

This weeklong ride resumes today with a 40-mile trek to Hermann, Missouri. We'll ride 55 miles to Weldon Spring on Friday before concluding this journey with a 60-mile ride to St. Louis on Saturday.

Thank you to all of our riders and their supporters for raising funds for and spreading the word about The Fuller Center for Housing's mission!

Join us on an upcoming Adventure!

We're capping off the Silver Comet ride by practicing what we preach — Building a Better World. We're on the second of two build days with the Americus-Sumter Fuller Center for Housing, and our riders have provided a huge boost toward getting this house ready to dedicate for the Jenkins family one week from today!

When we arrived on Thursday, the ground was bare, as were the floors and the walls. This afternoon, the grounds, walls and floors are looking beautiful!

Thank you to all these wonderful riders with servant hearts!

Join us on our next Adventure, and help us Build a Better World!

Today, we're riding back to where this Silver Comet ride started in Smyrna, Georgia. We've gotten a real taste of spring on the trail, and it's shaping up to be another beautiful day on our final segment!

Next, we'll be heading down to Americus, Georgia to help build a new home for the Jenkins family as part of the Americus-Sumter Fuller Center for Housing's Big Event Build.

Thank you to our riders, all those who have supported their efforts, and our church hosts along the way. We couldn't do it without you!

The Silver Comet team rolled into Anniston, AL this afternoon into the waiting, welcoming arms of our hosts at The Church of St Michael and All Angels.

At the AL/GA state line, the trail name changed from Silver Comet to Chief Ladiga. When you put them both together, it is the longest continuous stretch of paved rail trail in the nation.

After 50 miles in the saddle, we were all more than ready to rest and refuel!
