James F. Austin III is a senior finance major sales minor from Americus, Georgia and he attends Morehouse College. He was born to the parentage of Angela D. Zanders (Laster) and Frank Austin, Jr. He has aspirations to become a small business consultant and plans to achieve this by creating an LLC that supports local businesses. He is the current Founder/ CEO, Chairman and Grand President of a non-stock organization The Grand Achiever Protégé of America, Incorporated.
He has placed respectively in competitive case competitions that focused on fundraising initiatives, economic improvement and marketing strategies. James completed an highly-selective 8-week advanced entrepreneur seminar internship by a seasoned multi-millionaire. He is the President of a mentoring organization housed on Morehouse College campus, Vice- President of Business and Operations of an education and literacy non-profit organization, former Vice- President of his Class and member of the Morehouse Business Association.
He is currently participating in a community development training that will give him the tools and certify him to become a community development leader. He has recently gained recognition from the City of Atlanta in the form of a City Proclamation for his entrepreneurial efforts.
