We have finally arrived safe and sound back home in Americus! Thank you to everyone for covering us in travel prayers and well wishes as we made our way home from the 99th National FFA Convention and Expo! We are incredibly blessed to have made so many new memories, inside jokes, and the chance to have this unforgettable experience!

Our final day at the 99th National FFA Convention and Expo is officially in the books. We spent most of the day at the FFA Mega Store and at the Expo where we got all the free stuff! We ate hot salsa and Culver’s custard ice cream, we checked out many different colleges, and we got to meet a bunch of different FFA members from all over the country.

After lunch we headed to Lucas Oil Stadium to attend Session 5. We heard Proficiency and CDE/LDE results, cheered for all of the Georgia competitors that crossed the stage, and heard another inspiring retiring address from Jael Cruikshank!

After the session we headed to Topgolf for a great evening filled with laughter especially when we missed hitting the ball, some of us 6 times in a row (they know who they are)! When we got back to the hotel we packed our bags and played a few card games and Uno!

It’s hard to believe our time at National Convention is already over but we’re definitely already looking forward to the 100th National FFA Convention and Expo next year!

You never know who you’re going to meet at National FFA Convention. While we were waiting in the hotel lobby for the doors to open for Session 5, a few of our members ran into the National FFA Advisor Dr Travis Park and National FFA Executive Secretary Cheryl Zimmerman. Thank you for talking to us for a few minutes and letting our members get a picture with you during one of your busiest weeks of the year! National FFA Organization
