Before he takes the stage as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, we’re sitting down with Josh Minich. 🎙️👻

In “Houdini Speaks to the Living,” Josh plays the Sherlock Holmes creator, whose belief in spirits puts him at odds with the Great Houdini, played by Patrick Terry.

After a sold-out performance at Lincoln Center and a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, this true story of séances, spirits, and a spirited disagreement comes to Americus—with some ghostly magic along the way.

Come see Josh bring the believer to life onstage. ✨

There are no words to describe the grief we feel over the loss of this wonderful man. Decades of bearing witness to your infectious enthusiasm for community theatre, life, family and friends was not enough for any of us. We are profoundly grateful to have had you in our lives, David. Your spirit will live in our hearts forever. Rest easy, our beloved Scrooge.

Before he takes the stage as Houdini, we’re sitting down with Patrick Terry. 🎙️👻

The Sumter Players alum, magician, and co-writer of “Houdini Speaks to the Living” brings the show home to Americus after a sold-out performance at Lincoln Center and a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Starring alongside Josh Minich, Patrick brings the Great Houdini’s spirited disagreement with Sherlock Holmes creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to life—a true story of séances, spirits, and what lies beyond, with some ghostly magic along the way.

Get to know the man behind the magic, then come see him onstage. ✨

On the final episode of Keeping Up with the Kardraculans… 🧛‍♂️📺

At last, meet the man everyone’s been talking about: Count Dracula.

He’s incredibly wealthy, preparing for a move to London, and has enlisted realtor Jonathan Harker to secure five new properties for his arrival. It’s an important business transaction, and Dracula is taking his relationship with Mr. Harker very seriously.

Perhaps a little too seriously. 👀

Between discussing the deal, his plans for London, and several rather revealing Freudian slips, the Count seems to have more than real estate on his mind. 🔥🥵

But surely Jonathan’s trip to Transylvania is nothing more than a routine meeting with a perfectly normal new client.

…Right? 🦇

And with that, you’ve officially met the Kardraculans. Now there’s only one thing left to do: see what happens when they all end up on the same stage.

Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors hits the stage THIS WEEK, October 1–4 at the Rylander Theatre.
