The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Amarillo Keeping families of sick and injured children together in a homelike environment since 1983

When a child becomes seriously ill, the whole family suffers, particularly if the loved one must be hospitalized or receive outpatient treatment far away from home for extended periods of time. To be together, family members often sleep on uncomfortable cots or chairs, or bear the expense of a hotel room. At a time when they want all their strength available, the simple demands of everyday life ca

n seem overwhelming. For these families, Ronald McDonald House® of Amarillo offers a refuge from the hospital, a Home Away From Home where they can have a comfortable room and bed, kitchen and laundry facilities, and a play area. They can draw hope and strength from late night conversations over a hot cup of coffee or tea, sharing with other residents the experiences that may be difficult for family and friends back home to fully understand.

We hosted our annual Ronald McDonald House Pro-Am Golf Tournament this week at Amarillo Country Club, and wow, what a wonderful time we had!

Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors, players, donors, volunteers, staff, and board members who came together for a fun-filled day on the green raising BIG support for area families of sick and injured kids.

It was such a big hit last summer, we just had to do it again this year!

Ronald McDonald House of Amarillo is thrilled to be hosting a golf cart raffle in partnership with West Texas Golf Cars , and one lucky winner will score a brand new 2026 E-Z-GO Freedom RXV Gas EFI - customized with all of the greatest bells and whistles!

Tickets are $100 each and all proceeds will help keep families of sick and injured children together in a homelike environment at our House.

Talk about some happy kiddos! 🤩

Getting to take baby brother Kaizen home from the hospital was already exciting enough for Kingston and Knowledge, but these boys were DELIGHTED when we also sent special Spider-Man goodie bags along for their journey back! 🏠
