ACE was founded in 1978 as a not-for-profit, all volunteer club to foster and promote the conservation, appreciation, knowledge and enjoyment of the art of the classic wooden roller coaster and the contemporary steel coaster. Our club has grow

Ever wondered what goes into getting your favorite roller coaster ready for a day of thrills? šŸŽ¢

To celebrate National Roller Coaster Day, ACEā€™s social media team joined a group of creators and coaster enthusiasts at Six Flags Fiesta Texas for a behind-the-scenes look at what happens before the first guests arrive.

From checking the perimeter and restraints to testing safety systems and inspecting the ride, we got to see just how much work goes into getting a coaster ready to open.

And after all that, there was only one thing left to do: ride!

A huge thank you to the team at Six Flags Fiesta Texas for giving us a look behind the scenes. āš™ļø ā¤ļø

Come celebrate National Roller Coaster Day with ACE South Central this Sunday at Six Flags Over Texas! šŸŽ¢

South Central member and ACE Regional Representative Director Javan Townsend will be hosting an informal meetup at Tormenta at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 16.

Meet at the entrance to Tormenta and look for Javan in an ACE shirt. Weā€™ll grab a group photo and then enjoy a ride together with fellow ACE members to celebrate the day.

No registration required. Just show up, say hi and come ride with us!

Thank you to everyone who attended today's ceremony for the 75th anniversary of Wonderland Amusement Park. The park extends their sincere appreciation to ACE for the recent $25,000 donation towards the preservation of The Hornet. In honor of this donation attendees at today's event had an informal takeover ride.
