Today United Way of Amarillo and Canyon and 2-1-1 of the Texas Panhandle was at the Capitol of Texas to testify in-front of the Legislative Budget Board in support of reinstating a 3% budget reduction to Texas Division of Emergency management as well as gave public testimony in support of TDEM and their ask to the LBB for funding for Texas Community Recovery Program expansion and consideration for including direct funding for 2-1-1 service/coordination.
