Walking out of prison can be overwhelming. For many women, the days ahead are filled with uncertainty and the challenge of rebuilding their lives.
That’s why our Blessing Bag Program is such an important part of Sharing Hope Ministry.
Each bag provides women leaving Texas prisons with:
✨ Snacks and basic hygiene items
đź“– The Gospel of John
đź“ť A resource packet to help them create a plan of action for the days ahead
💜 And the opportunity to request a free Life Recovery Bible if they don’t already have one.
While our Life Recovery Bible program reaches thousands of women across the country, the Blessing Bag Program gives us another avenue to reach women right here in Texas with the hope of Jesus. It is another opportunity to remind a woman that she is loved, valued, and that her past does not have to define her future.
We believe this ministry is just as important as putting a Life Recovery Bible into a woman’s hands. Both are tools God can use to reach a woman’s heart and help her discover a new path forward.
